2. Locate the Wear Bars

Every tire features "wear bars" tucked inside the grooves. These are your early warning system. When the surrounding tread becomes level with these bars, the tire has lost its ability to grip the road effectively, especially in wet conditions. If the tread is flush with the bars, immediate replacement is necessary.
